Wood waste in the exhibition industry

#1

Last year, the Event Greening Forum (EGF) contracted the University of Pretoria to research the use of wood in exhibition stands and its disposal after a single use, to better understand the sustainability challenges it may pose (especially in terms of waste management) and to put forward best practice recommendations.

The report has been published, and the EGF is hosting an open discussion about the findings to explore what steps should be taken next to establish a more responsible industry standard for the manufacture and disposal of exhibition stands. If this is of interest to you - and you possibly have suggestions for how some of these wood waste materials could be used - please join us.
