Green building rating tools are used across the globe to encourage and recognise buildings that meet certain sustainability standards. Green Building Councils, which are members of the WorldGBC, develop and administer these rating systems to reward organisations who build and operate green buildings thereby incentivising them to push the boundaries on sustainability.
